Amy's family often visits a delightful Himalayan restaurant where customers are served a bowl of lentil soup to eat, free of charge, while waiting for their meals to arrive. We were so taken by the flavor of this delicious soup that we asked for the recipe. The owner gave us the recipe and came to Amy's plant to show us how to make it. Organic red lentils and yellow split peas are gently cooked with organic vegetables and traditional spices to create Amy's mildly spiced Golden Lentil soup for you to enjoy.
Amy's ""Hearty Soups"" were created to provide our customers with satisfying, nourishing, easy-to-prepare meals all from one can. Our chef's brother Steve, who runs an international cooking school near Tours, France, developed the recipe for this Hearty Minestrone, rich with vegetables, grains and lentils. An unexpected hint of pesto adds an intriguing touch you're sure to enjoy.
Approved by the original picky eater (Amy, of course), this tasty soup has a rich, satisfying flavor and the lentils are a good source of protein. Gluten free/dairy free/soy free/lactose free/corn free/tree nut free/vegan/kosher (Light in Sodium also available.)
The full rich flavor of Amy's Black Bean Vegetable Soup has made it a favorite with our whole family ever since we first tasted it in a lovely little restaurant in Puerto Escondido, Mexico (and begged the owner for the recipe). This delicious soup is high in fiber, low in fat and a good source of protein. It contains no cholesterol, gluten or dairy.
We make this Italian favorite from scratch with our rich tomato broth, savory organic vegetables, tender beans and pasta. Dairy free/soy free/lactose free/corn free/tree nut free/vegan/kosher (Light in Sodium also available.)
Amy's own version of the traditional ''Tom Kha Phak'', so popular in Thai restaurants, combines sweet, smooth coconut milk with gently warming Thai spices, organic tofu, lemongrass, shiitake mushrooms, sweet potatoes and other organic vegetables. This delicate, flavorful soup is a fine introduction to Thai cuisine.
